Education Minister to students

 

Jammu 23-04-2015: The Management & Principal of K.B. Public School organized “Earth Day Celebrations” at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust Complex, By-Pass, Jammu. Jenab Naeem Akhtar Hon’ble Minister for Education was the Chief Guest.

While addressing the staff & students of K. B. Public School and other respectable members of Gujjar community, Jenab Naeem Akhtar, Hon’ble Minister for Education said that education without information technology is in-complete and stressed to adopt modern and technical methods for complete and effective education. He further said that Earth Day celebration is very important for students and staff of the School. He praised the efforts of the staff and on the part of Shri Masud A. Choudhary, Patron-in-Chief who devoted his precious time for the betterment and upliftment of the School. He said that the name of the School have become popular among the people of Gujjar community in particular and other people in general of the State during the last 20 years under the able patron ship of Shri Masud A. Choudhary.

Before addressing he visited the School along with Director School Education and Chief Education Officer, Jammu. He laid down the foundation stone of “Centre for Information Technology”, a multistory building with modern facilities to educate the students with cost of Rs. 2.00 crores. He also visited Girls Hostel, newly established Science Labs in the school and the Exhibition organized by the school on “Earth Day” in K.B. Public School.

 

The Hon'ble Minister un-veiled paintings at Gurjar Centre for Cultural and Heritage, interacted with the respectable members of the Gujjar Community. On his arrival he was received by Masud A. Choudhary, Trustees and other prominent persons.

The students of K.B. Public School presented cultural programme, the Principal read the annual report of the school. The Hon’ble Minister release the school magazine and distribute the prizes among the students for their outstanding performance in curricular and Co-curricular activities.

The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the performance of the Principal of school, teachers, staff and students especially of Sh. Masud A. Choudhary, Patron in Chief for his un-tired efforts for upliftment of the community and the school as well. He emphasized for teaching/ learning of Urdu Language among the community.

Other dignitaries and Trustees who attended the function are Master Hasim Ali, Ch. Bashir Ahmed Khatana, Ch. Farooq Alam, Ch. Shoukat Javed, Ch. Bashir Ahmed Noon, Ch. Showkat Parvez, Ch. Abdul Hamid and Ch. Mohd Rafiq Kohli.

The vote of thanks was presented by Vice-Principal of the School. He prayed that this institution must be a University one day.
